Welcome to Icebreakers Christian Academy — a warm, home-based childcare program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children grow through play, nature-based experiences, and a developmentally appropriate curriculum.

At the heart of our philosophy is the belief that young children learn best through hands-on exploration, meaningful relationships, and unstructured time to play. Whether it’s building with blocks, digging in the garden, painting with natural materials, or reading stories under a shady tree, each day offers new opportunities for discovery, creativity, and connection.

Our daily rhythm includes:

• Play-based learning that supports cognitive, social, and emotional development

• Outdoor time and nature walks that foster a love of the environment

• Circle time, songs, and storytelling to build language and community

• Age-appropriate curriculum activities in early literacy, math, science, and art

• Quiet rest periods and healthy meals/snacks in a calm, home-like setting

 

We intentionally keep our group size small to ensure each child receives individual attention, strong caregiver bonds, and personalized support throughout their early years.
